We totally enjoyed our cabin stay! The location on the river was perfect for fishing, swimming, tubing and enjoying nature. When raining we sat on the screened porch, inside in the cozy living room or played games at the large dining table. All members of our multi generational group had a wonderful time.
The back porch overlooking the river was definitely the highlight of this cabin! The adults loved relaxing on the porch while the kids had a blast playing in the river. The location was excellent—we enjoyed tubing, hiking to Long Creek Falls, eating at Van Zandt's Grill, and exploring downtown Blue Ridge. The only minor thing worth mentioning is that the cabin doesn't get a lot of natural light inside, especially during the summer when the trees are fully leafed out. The listing photos appear to have been taken in the fall or winter, so the cabin felt a bit darker in person than we expected. It wasn't a dealbreaker for us—just something future guests may appreciate knowing if they enjoy bright, sunlit spaces. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we'd happily recommend it. Thank you for a great vacation!
